MediaGET NGO
MediaGET is a NGO which was founded in 2022 in Yerevan. The name of the organization means “media expert” in Armenian and speaks for itself.
We not only know much about media and how to create media products, but we are also ready to teach others and consult. The main thing for us is the quality of information, its availability and reliability.

Objectives:

to make available for the society and spread adjusted and full information;

to promote full awareness of important matters and events for the society and to provide the information to as wide audience as possible;

to support the professional development of Armenian media,

to spread in the journalistic community and to introduce contemporary approaches of information provision;

to support professional succeeding of new generation of journalists;

to support professional retraining of the journalists;

to support innovative approaches of the media activity in social media.
Tasks:
-
to create and spread high-quality journalistic materials regarding the issues and events, important for the society;

to refer to topics, interesting for the society and promoting the development of Armenia;
-
to prepare thematic analyses, based on deep expert studies;
-
to cover the various problems of the society via human stories;
-
to refer to events happening in the region, having submitted deep analyses to the audience;
-
to cover close and sensitive topics;
-
to create and spread unbiased and multilateral information;
-
to prepare multimedia materials and documentary, having referred to actual topics for the society;
-
to organize courses with wide circles of the journalists, to teach application of alternative and innovative approaches in work;
-
to spread contemporary and innovative professional approaches in the field of journalism via courses, also joint practical training with the authors;

to organize courses for the students of faculties of journalism and for young persons interested in media;

to organize professional conferences for the journalists with participation of local and foreign experts;

to create academic programs for faculties of journalism and for holding own courses;

to hold competitions among the journalists;

find funds and provide grants for the publication and promotion of quality journalistic materials on important topics that arouse interest in society;

to provide professional consultation to acting journalists and students of faculty of journalism;

to assist in civil journalism development;
-
to introduce the contemporary approaches, applied in social media to representatives of mass media.
